Who is this manual intended for?

Have you decided to apply the coating by yourself? Do you lack experience with similar types of applications? Are you unsure if you can handle the application? Do you need to know step by step how to apply the coating? Looking to expand your business? Then this manual is just for you.

It doesn't matter if you're a construction company, a craftsman, a woman on maternity leave or a pensioner. Anyone can learn how to apply decorative coatings. This manual is therefore intended for all those who are interested in learning to apply them.

Although it may seem that the application of decorative coatings cannot be learned using some manual, in fact we believe it is possible. There is, of course, the assumption that a person who wants to learn to apply decorative coatings should have at least some basic skill and a sense for detail. If they lack these qualities, they will probably not learn how to apply decorative coatings, even if they undergo practical weekly training. On the other hand, a person who has these skills should be able to manage the application without major problems after reviewing this detailed manual. In addition, the practical training is relatively short and it is not possible to cover the topic of the application of decorative coatings in its entirety.

About Ecobeton

Ecobeton operates in most European countries and Japan, Canada, and the USA. We manufacture and distribute sustainable materials for the construction industry. In particular, we develop products and systems for the protection of building materials such as concrete, wood and natural stone. Our mission is to protect them as long as possible in a natural and environmentally sustainable way. Extending the lifespan of building materials contributes to environmental protection and ecology.

Ecobeton is also engaged in developing and distributing innovative low thickness microcement overlays and their surface finishing system. Based on the experience gained during the restoration and protection of large buildings, we have designed the most advanced and more durable microcement coating for indoor and outdoor applications.

General properties of microcement coatings

Microbond is a decorative cementitious overlay from the Ecobeton portfolio. You can use Microbond indoors and outdoors. It can be used on floors, stairs, walls, kitchens, bathrooms, furniture, ceilings and other surfaces. Microbond offers a wide range of colours, decorations and textures, where the only limiting factor is the creativity of the implementer.

The Microbond coating allows you to create a minimalist, modern, creative and highly personalized style. At the same time, it is also suitable for creating a rustic style or revamping historic buildings. The Microbond coating is durable and can be used in wet areas such as showers. Thanks to a special recipe, the coating can be applied to cementitious surfaces and other substrates such as plasterboard, plaster, existing flooring or tiles, wood, laminate, metal, etc.

Hand application makes the outcome of each order or project even more unique and original. No two surfaces will ever be the same.
